Leave it to Apple TV to reunite George Clooney and Brad Pitt in a new movie and with the director of Spider-Man: No Way Home, no less. Although both voiced imaginary friends in IF, they have not been on screen together since Burn After Reading. But they are not the only ones reuniting this month. Slow Horses is back with its fourth season and the stakes have never been higher. These are only two of shows and movies streaming this month.

Slow Horses (Season 4) – September 4th
The misfits are back in a new season of Slow Horses. In season four, the game of espionage is taken to the next level with a bombing that detonates personal secrets. Already unstable, the dysfunctional team at the Slough House, the stakes are even higher. Adapted from Spook Street, the fourth novel in Mick Herron’s spy series, the underdogs of MI5 brings to light the sins of the past. It makes for an exciting season of action, intrigue and answers.
La Maison – September 20th
High fashion meets high stakes in the new series, La Maison. Take a peak behind the scenes at how an iconic fashion house is thrown into scandal by a viral video featuring star designer Vincent Ledu. Since leaving his family’s couture house, LEDU has been hanging by a thread. Still living in Vincent’s shadow, his former muse teams up with a new designer to bring the house back to life. At the same time, a ruthless CEO of a luxury brand takes advantage of the situation and plots her revenge to take over the competition. Between powerful families and the cutthroat world of fashion, this series is shaping up to be a juicy one.
Midnight Family – September 25th
Inspired by the documentary of the same name, delve into the story of Marigaby Tamayo. Although she may not have an alter ego like Superman, she does live a double life. Medical student by day, she spends her nights saving lives throughout Mexico City. Since her family owns an ambulance, the family tackles extreme medical emergencies to make a living. As a result, it offers an glimpse into how the healthcare system favors the wealthy over the poor. Straddling both worlds, the pressures weighs Marigaby down. However, she will do whatever it takes to stay afloat.
Wolfs – September 27th
The dynamic duo of George Clooney and Brad Pitt are back together in a new film. It’s been years since we’ve seen these two together. And I for one cannot wait for this film to debut. Both star as professional fixers who are hired to cover up high profile crimes. However, when the two are forced to work together, things get a little out of hand. Used to working alone each has to navigate around the other in order to clean up a murder scene. According to the director, Jon Watts, the film is a blend of comedy, action and drama. In fact, Apple TV believes in the project so much that they are already working on a sequel. In addition, the film will premiere in theaters a week for its streaming debut.
