It’s been two years since Outer Range premiered on Prime Video. During that time, we have been left with many unanswered questions. Finally, we’ll dive deeper and explore the mysteries surrounding the mystifying hole on the Abbott family range in season 2 of Outer Range.
What is Outer Range About?
The series revolves around a Wyoming rancher, Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin) and his family. In the series, his wife, Cecilia (Lili Taylor) and two sons, Perry (Tom Pelphrey) and Rhett (Lewis Pullman) are doing what they can to keep their land. To make matters worse, the Tillersons, led by Wayne (Will Patton), make a play for his land. Further, the entire family are coping with the disappearance of Rebecca, Perry’s wife. If that wasn’t enough, Royal discovers a mysterious black void on their land along with the arrival of a drifter named Autumn who seems to have a connection with the ranch. When an untimely death occurs, it sets off a chain of events that not only affect the family, but the town. As the troubles unfold, secrets from the past begin to be revealed.
By the end of season one, the family are just beginning to understand the dark void on their land. As they continue the struggle to keep their land, another family member goes missing. In season two, Royal and Cecilia are still trying to hold their family together especially now with two family members missing. At the same time, they are now facing threats on multiple fronts.
