What is New Life About?
New Life is a parallel story of two women in a post apocalyptic world. First, is Jessica (Hayley Erin), who is on the run the run from people with guns. Her only chance to escape it to cross the Canadian border. In order to stay safe, she tries to hide before she can start her new life in Canada. Hot on her trail is Elsa (Sonya Walger)who is tasked to take over the hunt. Be that as it may, a recent life-altering diagnosis leaver her one step behind Jessica. Recently, Elsa discovers she has ALS. To her dismay, her body is slowly refusing to respond as she likes. Even though, this disease could hold her back, she hides it from her colleagues and continues on.
As their chase narrows to the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, Elsa’s becomes closer to catching Jessica. Soon, the pursuit comes to a head with a harrowing confrontation between the two women as both are in search of meaning and redemption.

Initially, the movie premiered at the 2023 Montreal Fantasia Film Festival and at FrightFest with good reviews. Soon after, it was announced that the film would debut in theaters and on demand on May 3, 2024.

Who is Behind New Life?
Distributed by Brainstorm Media, the film is directed by Canadian filmmaker John Rosman, making his directorial debut. Producers of the film are T. Justin Ross and Mike Marchlewski.
