Immaculate Review
When we first watched the trailer, we thought it would be the typical religious horror movie like The Nun or The Omen. Boy, were we in for a surprise. There is a huge twist to the story, in which to keep it spoiler-free, we won’t disclose. In spite of it, it made the story a little more interesting and explained at lot in the movie.
Known for her roles in Euphoria and Anything But You, Sidney Sweeney does a fantastic job of bringing Cecilia to life. With the last scene of the movie alone, she showcases the range of her acting talents.
As far as it being a horror film, it’s not really scary. There are the occasional jump scares, but that’s it. With that being said, there are some intense scenes in the film, especially at the end. The final act is so intense that it will keep you on the edge of your seat.
While not the typical horror movie, it is still worth watch just for Sweeney’s performance alone. The film held our attention the entire time and the twist was welcome.
Does Immaculate have an end-credit scene?
If you are looking for an en-credit scene, there are no mid or post credit scenes for Immaculate. The movie does a good job for wrapping up the story.
Currently, Immaculate is playing at theaters. The digital release date is still unset.
