First dates are already nerve-wrecking. Imagine going on a date while an unhinged crazy person sends you memes instructing you to kill your date and everyone else around you. What would you do? Well, Drop answers this question for you.
What is Drop about?
Violet (Meghann Fahy) is a widowed mother whose whole life revolves around her son. Years after her husband’s death, she decides to start dating again and agrees to go on a blind date. Once she arrives at an upscale restaurant, she learns that her date, Henry (Brandon Sklenar), is more charming and handsome than she expected.
Her date seems to be going well. However, she starts receiving weird drops to her phone. At first, she is annoyed. Soon her irritation turns to terror when the drops become more unhinged. She is instructed not to tell anyone and follow instructions. If she fails to comply, the hooded figure at her home seen in her home security cameras will kill her son (Jacob Robinson) and babysitting sister (Violett Beane). In addition, the people in the restaurant are at risk as well. What’s her directive? To kill her date, Henry.
