What is Mayor of Kingstown season 3 about?

In the series, Jeremy Renner stars as Mike McLusky. As the unofficial mayor of Kingstown, Michigan, McLusky and his family get things done in a town where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. They are a sort of power brokers between the police, criminals, inmates, prison guards and politicians. In short, the family tries to keep the peace among all the factions. However, it may not have prepared them for whats next.

In season three, a drug war rages inside and outside the prison walls. Due to this, the pressure is on to end it before things get out of control. Unfortunately, things get complicated when a familiar face from is past makes a return. To make matters worse, tensions run high when the Russian mob decides to set up shop in the city.
