Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Review
Whether you are a fan of the original Ghostbusters movies, you’ll enjoy watching this one. For the fans of the original movies, there is a lot of nostalgia with returning characters. The original team, Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), are back in their iconic roles. Another returning cast member is Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts). If you don’t remember, she says the famous line, “Ghostbusters, what do yo want.” In the new film, she even suits up and gets into the action. Even their arch-nemesis, former EPA inspector, Walter Peck (William Atherton), is back to derail their plans.
All in all, it was an enjoyable movie giving older fans a walk back down memory lane. In fact, after watching Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in theaters, I went home and watched the first two movies from the 80s.
Does Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire have an end-credit scene?
Yes, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire does have a mid-credit scene. While the mid-credit scene is not crucial to the plot of the film or future films, it’s still worth watching. The scene revolves around some of the creatures in the last two movies we’ve grown to love. After that, you are free to leave the theater since there is no post-credit scene.
