WHAT IS SCOOP ABOUT?
Before we dive into the story, let’s get some context. In 2005, Jeffrey Epstein was investigated and soon convicted for child molestation and sex trafficking. He would throw lavish parties that included the world’s elite, including Prince Andrew, Duke of York. Many of these parties had underage girls in attendance. In 2019, Epstein was found dead in his jail cell from an apparent suicide. As a result, many reporters rushed to interview attendees about their relationship with Epstein.
Although Prince Andrew denied having a close relationship with Epstein wasn’t close, people saw them together numerous times. Soon there were several allegations that Prince Andrew also molested young girls. Because of this, everyone wanted to know first hand from the man himself, Prince Andrew. Ultimately, the most coveted interviewee was Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
Scoop picks up after these events. While the royal family can be a bit guarded, three women were determined to get an interview. Starting from beginning to end, Scoop, chronicles the tenacious journalism to land the ultimate interview.
