3 Body Problem Review
It’s been a while since there’s been a good, thought provoking sci-fi series. The closest series to compare it to is Battlestar Galactica. The story revolves around aliens coming to Earth and humans not knowing if they are friend or foe. It’s the typical aliens versus humans plot, but with a twist. The series will make you think and question things. Yes, there is a lot of science in the film, but you don’t need to know all the specific details to follow the story.
Since the series spans decades, there are a lot of characters that intertwine within the story. Below are the characters most integral to the plot. However, the way the series is constructed, it’s not hard at all to follow and care for them.
As for the visuals, Netflix put a lot of time and money in creating this series. It is absolutely stunning. Even the virtual reality headset, looks like it could actually exist. By the way, Netflix sold a replica of the headset and it sold out in minutes.
If you haven’t heard, there has been a lot of talk about episode 5. While it serves as an critical part of the story, you have to be a little prepared for it.
All in all, it is a great series that is a science fiction master piece with stunning visuals with enormous scope and vision. And Netflix has big plans for it. According to studio execs and the writers, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, Netflix plans to adapt Cixin’s trilogy, Remembrance of Earth, into a total of about four seasons.
Does 3 Body Problem have an end-credit scene?
